Red lobsters.

So this week, I've been working EVERY DAY. It definitely wears me out. But today before work was quite enjoyable :) Karen, Missi, and I went to lunch at Red Lobster. I had the Snow Crab Legs and Shrimp Scampi, yum! Then Karen and I relaxed at my house and watched the Jo Koy dvd, SO funny! "Josep, game ober!" Hahahaha. Then I worked...which wasn't too enjoyable, but I made great tips! Two more days at Simply Sushi, and then I'm done there.

Dunzo!

It was suuuuch a long day for me today! First, Bridger came over and picked me up so we could take my bike in his SUV. Then we went on a nice bike ride...too bad I'm so weak that I can't go up those big hills! Bridger can go up them like they're nothing, while I get off my bike and walk it up the hill, hahaha. I also biked into a table...crashed into a table...lovely. Then we stopped for some Bob's Brainfreeze, which is the best EVER. I will make it one day. We went back to my house, picked up Chelsea, and met up with Marie and Colton for some SUSHI! I will be full for a few days now, thank you. Bridger and I went back to my house for a bit, then met up with Marie, Chelsea, and Colton again at the drive in, and we watched Inception!!! It blew my mind, I definitely need to go see it again. Thanks for an amazing day my friends!

Happy 24th of July!

So today was going to be a bad day, that's what I imagined.
I was scheduled to work from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM, but as it turned out, work was very slow today, so Karen and I got off of work at 8:00 PM! So we went to a little bonfire with Bridger, Sunao, Rei, Yukari, Dan, and some other people. I had a yummy hot dog and some smores :>
Then we hung out at Bridger's for a little while...Bridger's good at being awkward. We ended the night with sparklers to celebrate the 24th (at least a little bit!) and on the way home, Karen and I saw a huuuuge pretty firework show from the freeway. The end.

Candy Mountain!

What an eventful day today was! Karen and I went to hang out with our favorite Ben, Alec, and Daryl! We went to Ben's apartment to find out he was still sleeping, so while he was in the shower, we watched NHK...and we watched an english lesson cartoon, which was AWFUL! Apparently semis talk to dogs and death is satisfying...yuck. Then we drove to Provo Canyon and walked to a beauuutiful waterfall! It was so much fun that we plan on going back next week! Then we went to Macy's and got icecream! Ben and Daryl got the King Kong Cones, and they were like a foot tall! It was unbelievable! Then we went to Gen-X and had fun trying on clothes. Then Karen and I worked all night ><

'Kayak' is a palindrome.

So today, Karen and I FINALLY saw DESPICABLE ME and I adored it. That and Toy Story 3 were my favorite movies of this summer so far! After that, we got frozen yogurt, and made fun pictures on my webcam.
Then my wonderful friend Bridger invited me to go kayaking with some of his friends! It was SOOOOO fun (and tiring!), I definitely want to do it again. But poor Laura flipped into the water...but she is definitely a toughie! The sky out there was so beautiful, and the sky glittered from the stars.
Bridger and I got chocolate donuts afterward, yum :)
Bridger and Karen, thanks for a great day!

GIRLTALKGIRLTALKGIRLTALK!

What an eventful day today was!
Started out with an iiiiinterview in Orem for Macy's clothing store, then we took a dip in the pool, (we as in Cecilia, Ben Black (Godzilla), and Daryl), but those dumb ladies ruined it for us...oh well.
Then Cecilia and I met up with Karebear, and went to Bridger's house. We got some Wendy's, then went to the Twilight Series Concert, met up with Dave, and the show tonight was GIRL TALK!
It was pretty much the best dance party ever, and I got a billion comments on the huge bow I was wearing. Some random girl asked to take a picture with me, one guy with gauges and tattoos all over asked if he could wear it for a second, and a lot of gay guys said they loved it, or it was adorable, or darling. Hahahaha. There was a bald man who was dancing with his thumbs up, and had a little booty shake the whole time, hahaha. So good.
I love my friends :)
And my friends are always fun to be with in the car when we jam to Backstreet Boys and Yellowcard, mhmmm :)

Feeling yogurt vibes on dollar trees.

Karen and I went to some stores for shopping for my apaaaartment!
(How new and exciting!)
I bought cups, pans, pots, plates, knives, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, cloths, shower curtains, pretty much everything I'll need for when I move out next month!
Then we went to YOGURT VIBES in South Jordan.
Their raspberry, peach, and pineapple frozen yogurts are SO yummy :)

Am I Original? Yeeahhh-ehh

Can I just say I love hanging with the Bridger?! He is the man!
First we went to see Toy Story 3...SO ADORABLE, and intense!
"I told you kids, stop getting in my butt!" Hahahahaha.
Then we went to pick up Bridger's rental car for his work,
so I had to drive his huge car to his house! Wayyy scary.
But jamming out to boy bands with Bridger is the best.
Bridger taught me the basics of lacrosse! I think I did pretty good,
and it was fun and relaxing!
We then made gyoza, and I can see we are iron chef status!
They were delish.
Then made mugicha and rootbeer floats.
I am SO full. Perfect day!

Wes Schramm is going on his mission!

Wes was called to serve the Lord in Kobe, Japan! He is leaving to the MTC this Wednesday!!! So today was his farewell, and he had an open house tonight. How fun is that?! We played terrets (amazing card game), had DELICIOUS food, and took a billion pictures! I love my Daiichi family :>

Denver Denver Deeenver!

So this past week, July 7-9, Marie, Cecilia, Chelsea, Sean, and I took a little trip to Denver and Ft. Collins! The first day, we drove, drove, drove! And we ate at Five Guys for dinner. Since we weren't in Utah, they didn't have FRY SAUCE!!! (Sean didn't even know what that was, woah!) So we asked the workers for mayo and made our own fry sauce! We stayed at a Super 8 Motel, it was nice. The next morning, we got up early and ate at Qdoba, a wonderful place to get breakfast burritos if you're ever in Colorado! Then we went to Denver to ELITCH GARDENS AMUSEMENT PARK! SOOOOOO fun, the rides are so much better than the ones here at Lagoon! The craziest/best rides were the Mind Eraser, Boomerang, and the Tower of Doom! After the amusement park, we went to Old Town in Ft. Collins! We ate at Mad Greens, which was so tasty, and then went shopping. Their shopping was AMAZING, if only I had brought more money...but I will know for next time! Later that night, Cecilia, Chelsea, and I went to the hotel hot tub, so awesome, and had cute little lights in it :> We decided to also take a little trip to the Denny's right next to our hotel, yummmm. Then we drove home the next morning. Colorado, I love you!

You've Got my Hands to Hold (Rest in Peace)

Tyler Blais,
If only I could find our old pictures we took together. If only I could remember our funny nicknames we gave each other. We were like purple pop-tart dinosaur best friends or something. We always had nice talks about Nevershoutnever! and old Chiodos. (I'm sorry for never making you a copy of their old cd) And I will always love the essay you wrote about how if everyone wore mustaches, the world would be a better place :) And I will always remember your Oompa Loompa dance and that you live on Leprechaun Lane, hahahaha! I still remember the first time we met, Monique and I picked you and Alex up from an elementary school and we played at Alex's house. I remember when we (you, me, Monique, and Alex) went to my house and colored pictures for each other with crayons and glitter glue...we made fun of Alex for "hitting on" my sister, hahaha. We went to Simply Sushi in a big group, and snuck you free food hahaha. I will always remember dropping you off at your house, but we stopped and you showed me "January 19th" by 1997, and it still remains one of my favorite songs..."This is it, I'm alive, and I'm livin' for somebody else now, and if by the way, I want you to know, I will be there when the storm gets too close." You will always be my little teddy bear!
We weren't friends for a very long time, but you were always so nice, and funny, and way fun to be around, and I wish I took the time to tell you that. I wish I would have taken the time to talk to you more, and hang out with you like we'd planned months ago.
But I can only go forward. You will help me to remember in my life, that we never know what's
going to happen, as your death was so sudden and unexpected. Thanks to you, I will do my best to be a better person, to be a great friend, because I never know when or if I'll see my friends again, or what will happen to the people who were once a part of my life. Thank you for being a great friend. I miss you, and God be with you til we meet again.
Love always, Miyuki.

Hello Arizona, hello Grand Canyon!

Hello!
I just got back from a nice little vacation with my family,
and Obachan, and her friend Abe san!
We visited Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon,
Monument Valley, Arches National Park,
and it was SO beautiful.
There were so many cool Native American shops,
I was in love and obsessed!
