This painting was inspired by several things: Porter Robinson's song "Sad Machine" , old school hero/villian/princess-saving games (Chris and I have been playing Zelda a lot lately), and the love I have for Chris. You're always the hero in these types of video games, but you still choose to make it happen. Chris is my hero who has awakened me and turned my world upside down <3 p="">Acrylic, 2014

This painting was inspired by a dream I had. A "spirit guide" came to me while I was re-living some negative situations I have experienced in my life, and it told me to stop letting myself be taken advantage of, and to let go of any toxic relationships that were holding me back, whether it was with myself, others, or my surroundings and environment. I've been working to let go of anything that has held me back, and it was a great feeling to have the importance of this manifested to me so strongly in a dream. Go for your dreams and goals in life, and don't let your past or your fears hold you back. Keep those people close to you that want you to achieve anything and everything you desire!
Acrylic, 2014

I tried painting a piece to represent the word "sonder", that has been on my mind lately. It is the realization that every being is living a life as vivid and complex as our own. I'm trying my best to be more compassionate and more understanding towards anyone I come in contact with (even plants, animals, bugs, etc.), because every life is as important and real as ours, and everyone is dealing wit...h what they're handed in the best way they can. Some days it's hard to do. But, we are all here trying to figure out our purpose, so why not help and love each other to make this journey a little bit easier? For consciousness to continue progressing, I feel that we need to set aside our differences and barriers between one another (religion, race, lifestyle, financial classes, traditions, etc.), and understand that we're all one and we're all in this together :)
Acrylic, 2014
This painting was inspired by Alex Metric's song "Heart Weighs a Ton".
Acrylic, 2014

"Interstellar"
Acrylic, 2014
This painting was inspired by the movie Interstellar, which has become my new favorite movie of all time. I highly recommend to anyone :)
