This past weekend (July 20 - 22), Chris and I took another little trip to Vernal to visit my family. During this trip, we stayed with my aunt Sandy and uncle Alan, and their two girls, Alyssa and Jenna.
Day 1: Today we drove to Vernal, and got there around 6 pm. We got settled in, then went to dinner at Canton City (Excellent Chinese food....in Vernal, Utah...crazy, right?) with Sandy, Alan, Alyssa, Jenna, and my grandparents. Afterwards, we (without Grandma and Grandpa) went bowling at the Dinah Bowl. We basically all sucked, except my uncle Alan, who has been in bowling leagues...big woop ;) Then Chris, Alyssa, and I went and got some icecream at Farr's Fresh.

Day 2: Today was a long, busy day! My uncle Alan, cousins Alyssa and Jenna, brother Ian, stepmom Mayuko, and Chris went to Flaming Gorge to look around. It was very natsukashi to go there :) It has been a very long time for me. After spending the day looking at the beauty of nature, feeding fish and ducks, canoeing, and eating good food, Chris and I hung out with my aunt Sandy, did some little shopping, and got dinner at Cafe Rio! We ended the night watching a movie with Sandy...The Lady in Black!! It was pretty good, I got super scared!

Chris and I watched a lightning storm from the porch, so much fun! It was really hard to get any good pictures of the lightning, as you can see...
Day 3: Today we just woke up, got ready, and ate an early dinner at my grandparents' house with all of my family. It was good to see them all before coming back home, and the food was great, too! Then Chris and I just chatted with my family, then drove home! Vernal always feels like home to me, and I love visiting my family there!
