Last Saturday, I went on a blind date! It was a lot of fun, and this guy (Kevin) is definitely a hunk and definitely awesome! (Thanks for the hook-up Lauren! You know me too well.)
He picked me up a few minutes late because he took a few wrong turns. On the way to eat, he took a few more wrong turns and we ended up in creepy trailer park neighborhoods, and had to find our way back. He says he made it back to his apartment after taking me home "without making a single wrong turn"....don't know if I believe you Kev! Puahaha.
We ate at the Awful Waffle, this cute lil waffle/crepe cafe in Provo. (For those of you Salt Lakers, it's like Bruges Waffles and Frites) We both got a vanilla liege waffle...no idea what that means, I just know it was the "most dense" waffle of them all. I got cinnamon, butter, sugar, and bananas on mine. Kevin got TOO MUCH SUGAR....aka caramel syrup, whipped cream, bananas, strawberries, powdered sugar, and other sugary nonsense.
After that, we went to his apartment to sculpt icecream! Don't worry, I've never heard of it either. But, it was fun nonetheless! We did this with Kevin's roommate and his roommate's woman. We made ours into an owl our of strawberry/vanilla icecream (Figures, right? Owls are the best), and Kevin's roommate and roommate's woman (I forgot their names...oops) made dragons out of chocolate marshmallow icecream...theirs kind of looked like logs of poop :)
Anywho, we played card games after that. Catch Coo, Group Solitaire (more fun that it sounds like), and this hand-slapping-sandwich-or-double card game...so fun, but I was so bad at it! One day....
